You will face disappointment in life. That’s just a fact. But you do not have to live disappointed. The Bible has the answer in Romans 8:28: “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”

Even those things that feel like a disappointment can be viewed as His Appointment.
