1. Secure in Him
When you know God has Appointed you, wow! That alone sets you to soaring! Through prayer and the power of God’s Word, stay rooted and grounded in the love of God and confident in the One who has given you an Assignment. You can not soar with joy unless you are grounded. Yes, it’s true! Your security doesn’t come from applause or approval. It comes from Him. Period. (Otherwise, no amount of applause or approval will be enough…and one whisper of disapproval can see you plummeting from the heights! Trust me, I’ve got the bruises to prove it!!!) Learn to rely solely on the favor of God on your life.
2. Own your Niche
When you lift up an Authentic Voice, with an Authentic Heart-centered message, you have NO competition. None whatsoever. And sister, that sets you free from the deadly Comparison Trap. When you understand with clarity who you are called to equip, your niche, you get into Alignment with your Assignment. When you do, you’ll see the favor of God on your life and business in brand new ways.
3. Announce your Presence
It’s time to leave behind all fear — and even the false modesty and insecurity that have held you back for too long. By the way, false modesty and insecurity are actually insidious forms of pride…but we can talk more about that later! What you need to know is: It’s time to stop hiding your light under a bushel. It’s time to come out of the shadows to shine your light throughout the internet. People around the world need the answers you have found — but they will never receive the help you are uniquely qualified to bring until you learn how to–effectively, strategically and consistently — Announce Your Presence to them. And when you do, the favor of God on your life will act like a loudspeaker so the sound is heard around the world.
4. Remember the 3Rs: Research. Results & Role Model
God wants to give you Spiritual Authority to become the Established Authority in your field. We need to be diligent in researching, getting results in our own lives (empowering others to get results) and living as Role Models of the solutions we are sharing. Men and women throughout scripture were diligent, even in obscurity, and when their moment arrived, they soared to the top of the mountain. (Daniel, David, Joseph….we could go on and on!) When you have the favor of God on your life and calling, there’s no limit to how far you can go.
5. Inform Your Tribe
God wants to Anoint you to equip and empower those he has called you to impact. As you operate in the power of his favor, there is an anointing on your words (written and spoken) that carries an Authority that people are drawn to. Using that Authentic voice, speaking as one with Authority, God can readily position you as the go-to person on your subject. That’s what the favor of God on your life can do.
6. Pro-Actively Cultivate Accountability
As these pieces start coming together, something wonderful is going to happen…but that wonderful can quickly turn terrible. As you are in Alignment with the Assignment, lifting up your Authentic voice, walking in Authority, a moment will come when God hits the gas pedal. That moment when the favor of God on your life becomes obvious to everyone.
It’s called divine Acceleration. All of a sudden, you are soaring on the heights. Yes, suddenly (maybe after 30 years of diligent obscurity!) you are at the pinnacle.
This is wonderful. But also very very dangerous. Because the higher you soar, the more devastating the THUD when you crash. That’s why it’s absolutely essential for you to have four key people in your life. Four people who can prevent you from slogging up the wrong mountain. Four people who can help prevent you from stumbling. Four people who will help ensure that when you soar, you soar for life: Cheerleader, Accountability Partner, Mentor and Coach. You must build Accountability Relationships.
Warning: Do not soar without Accountability! If you do, the favor of God on your life will just as quickly be withdrawn. And you don’t want that to happen!
7. Lifelong Learner
To Soar to the Top is glorious! But to remain a relevant Authentic Voice and Authority, it’s essential to commit yourself to stay a lifelong learner. Especially if you are called to teach others, make sure you position yourself for continual growth. As a lifelong learner, you can remain Active and Activated in your gifts, walking with the favor of God on your life…until your final breath.
