A conversation that moves women from “someday” to their next step.
Faith. Reinvention. The courage to write the book, share the message, and pursue what’s next.
Why hosts book Donna
- Credibility your audience recognizes. More than 30 books, 1.5 million+ copies sold — including Becoming the Woman God Wants Me to Be (300,000+ on its own).
- Hundreds of interviews. Radio and television — she won’t need answers dragged out of her.
- Both sides of the mic. She hosted her own shows on TalkShoe and then BlogTalkRadio, back before most people had heard the word “podcast.” She knows what makes an interview work.
- Both sides of publishing. Built her career with traditional Christian publishers; now helps first-time authors write, publish, and launch on Amazon. She can tell your listeners what each path actually costs.
- Stories, not theory. Every point comes with a real person and a specific moment your listeners will remember.
- No infomercial. Your listeners get the content. If they want more, they’ll find her.
The short version

I’m a Jersey girl who loves Jesus, and my life has taken more turns than I ever could have planned — investment banking, bestselling books, international missions, online entrepreneurship. Along the way: closed doors, disappointments, and seasons when the next step was anything but obvious.
Today I help aspiring Christian authors turn their ideas into published books, and I’m still writing and publishing my own. My heart is especially drawn to women who spent years showing up for everyone else and are starting to ask, “What am I supposed to do with this next chapter?”
You are not required to remain the person your last season needed you to be.
Conversations we could have
“What Kind of Writer Are You?” — the live 90-second test. I walk listeners through the four writer types on the spot so they can self-diagnose: the Called Dreamer, the Bursty Sprinter, the Eternal Student, the Careful Perfectionist. Each type gets stuck differently — and needs a different next step.
“You Don’t Have a Clarity Problem — You Have a Finishing Problem.” Why most writing advice fails stuck writers, and what actually gets a book out of someone’s head and into print.
“1.5 Million Copies Later: What 40 Years Taught Me About Getting Books Done.” Done beats perfect, platform beats talent, and why I stopped waiting to feel ready.
“Your Book Might Be Three Books.” Most first-time authors are trying to write one giant book — that’s why they never finish. The books readers actually finish are short: one problem, one audience. I’ll show your listeners how to find the one book inside their big idea.
Questions you can ask me
Use these as written or as a starting point — I’m happy to shape our conversation around your audience.
- You’ve written 30 books over 40 years. What do most first-time writers get wrong before they ever type chapter one?
- You say most stuck writers don’t have a clarity problem — they have a finishing problem. What’s the difference, and how does a writer know which one she has?
- Why does the Called Dreamer keep waiting, and what’s the one move that actually gets her started?
- If a listener takes one step this week toward finishing her book, what should it be?
- What would you say to the woman who thinks she’s missed her chance to write her book?
- How do you promote a book without making it all about yourself?
