We've all seen the bracelets with WWJD – What Would Jesus Do?
It was inspired by the classic book, In His Steps, written in 1896 by Charles M. Sheldon:

In His Steps
If you really want to walk In His Steps, I can think of an even better book to read. The Bible. Read the Bible and you will see the answer with your own eyes. We see exactly what Jesus did:
- How He communicated with the Father
- The way He relied on the leading of the Holy Spirit
- The love and care he showed people
Okay, so following in the footsteps of Jesus is pretty simple. We need to listen to the Father, lean on the Holy Spirit and love people.
Of course, love needs to look like something.
The love of Jesus was practical. He wasn't just “nice.” He actually healed people and set them free in spirit, soul, and body. He demonstrated love with power!
“I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”
– John 14:12
WWJD ? That's What YOU Should Do
Does stepping out in faith to walk in the footsteps of Jesus sound risky? It sure does to me! But isn't disobedience the biggest risk of all? If we're not seeing miracles in our midst, I believe it's because we are unwilling to step out and do what Jesus did.
It's time to take this whole WWJD thing to the next level!
